On 25th to 26th June 2025, a two days’ workshop was conducted by representatives of Chief Ombudsman namely Mrs. Megan Robins (the Acting Manager, International Development and Engagement), Mrs. Grace Taylor (Senior Advisor, International Development and Engagement), Mr. Stuart McGilvray (Legal Advisor) and Ms. Renee Vaioleti (Investigator, International Development and Engagement). The training combines all together investigators, legal Officers, investigations directors and anti-corruptions Officers.
The workshop covers all together six (6) topics which are:
- Planning an investigation
- Administrative Law principle
- Being an investigator with a Disability sensitive approach (How to break disability barriers)
- Information gathering and analysis
- Report writing skills
- Wellbeing and resilience as an investigator (How to handle stress as an investigator)
During these two days, all the participant explained their similarity and differences from their perspective of their Office. These includes challenges and learning new experience from each other.
