The Ombudsman of the Republic of Vanuatu is visiting the Northern town this week after Tropical Cyclone ravaged the northern island.
TC Harold made landfall across the islands in the central of the country including Santo, where the second office of the Ombudsman is operating.
This week, Ombudsman Hamlison Bulu is traveling with two senior officers in Santo to check on the officer on ground and some other office matters.
While in Santo, the Ombudsman will be checking on the process of all Santo cases and the current situation and set future plans for Ombudsman’s office in Santo.
Mr Bulu, head of the Administration Christine Kapalu and Director Maladministration section Velma Karabani will be travelling back to Port Vila sometimes next week.
